"Lucifer" [vs "Satan"]
-- a word i came across twice.. once in a song n another in a book..

Lucifer actually means Venus, the morning star.. the light-bearer or the bringer of light..

Lucifer is oso used to describe a Babylonian king who has fallen frm his throne..

Christians nowadays sometimes refer to Jesus as Lucifer cos it means d morning star.. (i hope its correct, if its not i apologise.. but as far as i noe, frm online texts, it is lyk tt.. according to wat i read earlier on, there was some confusion cos of mistranslation into diff languages by diff ppl.. so d same word can refer to diff ppl, diff things..)

In Christianity, Lucifer was d highest-ranking angel next to God.. He was created by God as a perfect Guardian Angel.. Later on, sin is found in him in his attempt to bcum God n overthrow him, n so he was cast out frm Heaven.. He den became known as Satan, the Devil who is oso capable of disguising himself as an Angel of Light.. He was d one who tempted Eve to commit her sins, to become her own 'god' by replacing God.. He was oso d one who tempted Jesus Christ but his efforts was futile tis time round.. In d end, Satan was thrown into d Lake of Fire, nv to be released again..

"A person has not shown true obedience if he has never had an opportunity to be disobedient."

"If we always know why we suffer, our faith would have no room to grow."
