thx to peiling.. d conversation which i juz had wif her sort of made me realize how fOrtUnAte im.. she was my ex-colleague for d SMRT job i had in june 2003.. one yr older dan me.. she graduated frm poly n now she's a part-time student at SIM.. she had applied to cum to NTU but she failed.. sat for d SAT twice i tink, yet she din get a gd enuf grade.. so now she has no choice but to c'tinue her course at SIM.. she tld me tt she has many poly frens who r now working cos dey canNot afford to go uni... dey wan to study yet dey cant affOrd d expenses..

tt reminded me of my em101 grp mate last sem.. i cant rem wats her name liao.. she was in engineering.. i rem she tld me tt nbs wAs n wiL aLwAys be her dReAm sch.. she has bEtTa 'A' level grades dan me u noe.. but she cldnt get into nbs during d yr in which she was admitted... i was reaLLy fOrtunAte man... my results r wOrse dan her yet i managed to get into nbs.. but i stil kept cOmpLaininG abt all d things there... din bOtHer to do my wOrk well.. skipped tutorials.. fLunKed my qUizZes.. bEinG sO 'atTitUdE'.. rUsHed tHru my eXams pEriOd.. in d end, i failed my FM n landed up in IT wen it's toO lAte for aNy reGrEts...
